History
Simpolo Ceramics marked their first step in the Indian Tiles scene back in 1977 and has continually grown in reputation not just domestically but globally too. In 1991, Simpolo had made its way into the Sanitaryware segment with 400 units per day production plant, which grew to 700 units by 1993. In 1995, they officially entered into ceramic tiles manufacturing by installing a plant with 1000 square meter production capacity. In 1999, they installed a new facility for Sanitaryware with 900 units per day capacity.

Simpolo’s ceramic venture grew to a 5000 meter per day capacity with the installation of a new factory in 2004. And in 2008, they made their way into vitrified tiles manufacturing and established a double charge plant with 8000 square meter per day capacity. In 2012 it became the 1st Indian brand in making an initiative to protect the Indian market from China when it established a new 800 x 800 double charge vitrified tile plant with 14000 square meters capacity. Since then Simpolo has led the way for the Indian Tiles and Sanitaryware market with its continuous innovative steps, developments and associations which has further strengthened their position.

Simpolo Tiles has always set the benchmark in the Indian Tiles & Sanitaryware industry. In 2003 they introduced India’s first innovative table top and followed it up with the introduction of handcrafted basins in 2005. Their contribution to the Indian Ceramic industry is revolutionary in terms of the first stain free Tiles with Nano Technology in 2008. NanoTechnology made way for a whole new kind of innovation, with its durability factors, low maintenance, and increased glossiness.

They had introduced the Whitest tiles in the world with Alaska Whites. And introduced the color body glazed vitrified tiles for the 1st time in India. With the introduction of Rock deck, India's strongest tiles outdoors, it made way for a new era in tiles. The unflinching work ethics and operation standards has earned the brand many laurels both in India and abroad such as the reception of India’s Power Brand award and the recognition as Asia's most production brand in 2016.
